Microfluidic Selex with One-dimensional Microbead Array

چکیده

Aptamer is a protein-binding oligonucleotide which can be in vitro selected by systematic evolution of ligands by exponential enrichment (SELEX), and it has the advantages of high affinity, low immunogenicity and easy synthesis as a promising class of antibody surrogates. The microfluidic SELEX performs an improved multiplex platform which can run a number of aptamer selection in parallel and saves the reagents and labor cost. In this work, we conducted a proof-of-concept study about microfluidic SELEX with one-dimensional microbead array for screening the aptamers of thrombin as a model protein to confirm the platform feasibility.
